The Manny Lafont Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization established in 2024, was created to carry forward Manny’s legacy of compassion, generosity, and love for life by helping others in need.

To know Manny was truly a privilege. His presence left an unforgettable impression filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. He lived with a spirit of kindness, always finding ways to support others—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Manny often said, “I want to help people. I want to do something good in this world. When I die, I want to say that my life meant something.” Those words continue to guide our mission.

Beyond his giving nature, Manny had a lifelong passion for baseball. From the time he was five through his college years and beyond, the game was part of his life. In recognition of his impact, the Miami Beach Little League fields were named in his honor on March 13, 2022, and the Manuel “Manny” Lafont Coach of the Season Award was established to celebrate coaches who embody his dedication and spirit.

Through the foundation, we are committed to honoring Manny’s memory by making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
